Michael Flowers- Owner/Head Chef
Michael began his career at our very own Oakmont Country Club and has continued his endeavors in some of the region’s best restaurants including La Bistro and Cabaret at Theater Square. Using the knowledge gained from his time as the wine steward at the renowned La Normande, Flowers has created a full wine list that has a variety of wines at reasonable prices.
Max Flowers- Sous Chef and Server
Max started out his experience at The Mighty Oak Barrel from ground level as a dishwasher then he moved through the kitchen and now is one of our best servers. He is currently going to school to get a degree to be a physical therapist assistant and plans to go into sports performance training.
Sarah Flowers- Manager
Sarah began assisting her father in the kitchen almost 10 years ago while he was working at the Pittsburgh Cabaret. She has learned a lot in the way of anticipating the needs of the kitchen and working harmoniously with Michael. Sarah received an Associates Degree in 2014 and is currently working on her Bachelors of Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.

You may remember these faces, as these wonderful folks used to work here as managers. They helped to build our restaurant into what it is today. In the four years they worked here, they've gotten engaged and married and have grown so much. Since then, they have moved with their very silly rottweiler to Durham, NC to start an organic vegetable farm!
